Envelope No. 1

Designed for delicate blooms like hellebores, Envelope No.1 offers low, supportive structure with an undulating rim that lets every flower face forward.

This form was born from my love of short-stemmed flowers—especially hellebores. With their nodding heads and shy faces, hellebores often appear droopy, and most vases don't do them justice. Envelope No.1 was created to lift them up, support their movement, and offer enough space for a real floral composition.

Unlike narrow vintage bottles or tiny cylinders, this piece features an undulating rim that accommodates varied stem heights and encourages dynamic arrangements. It envelops flowers gently, helping each bloom be seen from every angle.

Each piece is handmade in the USA using slip-cast porcelain, crafted from natural earth minerals. Small freckles or variations may occur, reflecting the human hands behind each form. Every vase is individually inspected, signed, and numbered by me, Sullivan, drawing on 15 years of professional floral design experience.
